Feeling... annoyed

Listening to... love at first sight by kylie minogue

Eating... nothing

Watching... Fresh Prince

How stupid. There's all this crap about the stock market and Worldcom in the papers and on the news. Kinda hard to miss. I gotta say... Bush isn't doin so hot. I mean, gee, I'm sooo sure that telling people it'll get better is just going to magically make it better. I'm sooo sure that waving your hand around and talking about "crackdowns" is just going to send all those rich and still greedy assholes in jail. Yupppp. Don't you just see that happening? Figures... the guy who bullshits his books and gets tons of money isn't gonna go to jail but the guy who steals like, what, $500? from a gas station would. I'm not sayin the guy who stole from the gas station shouldn't. But why is it okay for the guy who steals $500 to go to jail and possibly sit next to murderers or violent convicts while the Worldcom or Enron executive either makes off with his money or sits in a nice cushy jail? I may not know everything about the government or trials and that kind of stuff, but I think most people would agree with me when I say even if those executives ever get convicted of anything, it's highly doubtful they'll end up next to rapists or murderers.
