Today was my birthday and I couldn't have asked for better friends. Even the ones that I've felt a little less connected to lately. It kinda made me see that I've been so busy lately that I haven't had enough time to just catch up with people, which I should do more often. And like, three people asked me today, "So what are you doing for your 17th?" It's a Monday. I'm sitting here trying to finish an essay. Ew. On the other hand, all my friends kick ass. Seriously. I guess I just hope they know how much I appreciate them.

Oh, but as for the weekend, I saw two movies (Final Destination 2 and Gangs of New York). I'm a baby, but Final Destination scared the hell outta me! It was more the concept than the actual scenes (which were sooo gross). Haha, Trace and I were on the phone til like 1 am trying to forget the movie. And on Sunday I had a birthday lunch with my family, Carmen and her family at CPK and then we saw Gangs of New York (where I busted out my PCC ID card with no birthday on it that confused the person so much that she just let me in the movie). I think that's the second time ever that I've been asked for ID for an R-rated movie. Most places don't seem to care. But yeah, that's a really good movie. Really really good. Gory and violent but good. Alright, I'd write more about everything but my Sedaris essay is still waiting on Word.                 posted here at @ 11:02 PM & 0 comments
