Spring Break has come and gone. I'm still mourning the end of it. haha. I slept a lot, did a lot of nothing, was supremely
lazy and I LOVED it. I didn't really do anything out of the ordinary, except visit schools, even though I'd already decided to go to
USC (YAY!). I visited USC on Tuesday with my Dad. It was pretty cool. I really liked the campus and their presentations answered all my questions before I even needed to ask them. Tracey, Annie and I also visited Harrison at UCSB on Thursday. It was kinda our mini road trip. We stopped by the Camarillo outlet on the way there, where we really didn't buy anything since we were all broke kids, who'd spent too much money. =/ Well, okay, I got a bracelet. But c'mooon... that doesn't
really count. ;) haha. I'd been to Santa Barbara before, but not UCSB. That campus is seriously right
on the beach, it was cool. Well, the tar wasn't cool... especially when I was trying to scrub it off my feet as I was falling asleep. haha. It was still a fun trip though. We met his roommate and neighbors too - they were all really nice. I think Annie has a picture of the four of us on her
Xanga. Yeah, as you can tell from the last few entries, I'm not that great about remembering my camera. haha
Now it's back to school, where the college craze is in full swing. I think I've talked about it in almost every single class today. It's kinda funny and annoying at the same time. Man, class of 2004 is definitely the smartest of the past few years. I just mean in general, considering we've got people who might be going off to Ivy League School
S and places like MIT.
APs are in (less than?) two weeks, I'm not really stressing about it. That's not exactly good, but it's nice not having much homework to do. I'll panic later? haha. Or I could just not.
Shoot, I've basically been concerning myself with other things besides the AP tests lately. I made a new purse and belt over Break. I loved how much faster everything now that I know how to use a sewing machine. Chalk one up to being easily amused again. ;)
The front of my new purse. You can't really see the beads, but man, those took a while...
The back. The flower's actually this pressed flower sticker-y thing that's not really supposed to be sewn on fabrics, but I did it anyway so it wouldn't be so plain. The coloring on the picture's kinda weird though... bad angle.
This entry's too long. Bye! :)
